19th Annual Gold Star Family 10K Ruck March 25

Woods n Water is proud to call Gold Star Mothers of NJ Family & it is an honor to have been permitted to escort PO 1 David M. Tapper’s Gold Star Mother, Judi Tapper to the 19th Annual Gold Star Family 10K Ruck March 25.

All of those involved with the coordination and execution of today’s event should be proud. It was a very organized respectful event to honor our Fallen Nation’s Heroes.

From the moment the Gold Star Families arrived, they were greeted with great hospitality, enthusiasm and genuine appreciation. All were escorted to the “Gold Star Room” which provided a light breakfast with beverages and showed to their respective station.

Once at their station, their ruck team greets them and introduces themselves as they express their gratitude for the opportunity to honor their Fallen Hero. Once the ruck was completed, each team approached their Gold Star Family and presented them with a commemorative patch.

It seemed fitting that we stop by the newly constructed road named after PO 1 David M. Tapper.
