DESCRIPTION:This is event for our Nation’s Heroes will start on the shore for some camaraderie and surf fishing. Fish AC will provide bait and fishing gear to all that need it. If you have your own gear\, feel free to bring it. No experience necessary! We will teach you. Please arrive at 10:45. Once we pack up from fishing\, we will take the short walk to the Atlantic City Cruises and board their boat to head out to sea to (hopefully) enjoy dolphin and/or whale sightings. \n**This is a trip on the ocean. If you are prone to sea sickness\, you may want to sit this one out or bring medication with you. \nYou are welcome to bring family\, but be sure to consider sea sickness with them as well. \nPlease do NOT register unless you are sure that you will attend!!! DESCRIPTION:This is a boat fishing event for our Nation’s Heroes!\nVolunteer boaters will be paired with Veterans/active duty members of the Armed Forces and first responders for a FREE day of fishing on the water. If a Veteran/active duty member of the Armed Forces or a first responder has their own boat or a friend/family member that will take them out in one\, they are welcome to do so. If not\, we will team up each Hero with someone with a boat. So if you have a boat and would like to volunteer your time and boat to take a Hero out for a day of fishing\, we welcome you to join us.\nHeroes do NOT need a fishing license. NJ Fish & Wildlife generously waived the license requirement for WnW events. All others must have a current NJ fishing license in possession.\n\n** You must register for this event. Click on “tickets” to be directed to the EventBrite registration\n\nDerby team tournament format with awards going to:* 1st & 2nd Big Bass Team* 1st & 2nd Big Miscellaneous* 1st & 2nd Big Panfish Team (Crappie/Perch)* Overall 1st\, 2nd & 3rd(1) fishing rod per person at a time. Lures & live bait permitted(2) people per boat.
