DESCRIPTION:Once again\, our friends at Pioneer Sportsman reached out and invited us to bring our Nation’s Heroes out for a day of skeet shooting.\n\nThe last two years was incredible! The Pioneer crew organized a great event and wait until you see their clubhouse.\n\nAs with all of our events\, this is a FREE event. Shotguns\, ammo\, clays\, lunch\, bottles of water\, coffee and hot chocolate will be provided. If you have your own shotgun\, you are welcome to bring it. If you would like any other beverage\, you will need to provide it.\n\nDirections to event location: (location shown on event map is NOT the event location)We will set up Woods n Water directional signs where possible. Please copy the directions provided to assist you. We will be at the Fire & EMS Station at 1030. If you arrive there\, we can follow each other to the location. DESCRIPTION:Are you a Veteran or Active Duty Member of the Armed Forces and have been deployed to a Combat Zone? \nIf so\, we welcome you home and invite you to join others that have been as well in sitting around a campfire\, breaking bread and shootin’ the shit ………. let the conversations and mood direct the night. \nWe start the night at 1630\, but you are welcome to arrive when you can make it. It will last as long as y’all want it to (ending time is required for the event creation). At 1630\, there will be coffee\, bottled water and snacks; at 1700ish\, dinner will be served. We provide the campfire\, wood\, coffee\, bottles of water\, snacks and grub. All that y’all have to do is keep the fire going. \n  \n*** You MUST register for this event!!! *** \nSimply click on the link provided. DESCRIPTION:This hike/ruck will be at the Edwin B. Forsythe National wildlife. This is a resachedule as the first one was postponed due to a bad weasther forecast. \nThe purpose of our hike/ruck events is to provide an activity for our Nation’s Heroes that is healthy and to provide an opportunity for us all to show our appreciation for their service. One of the mindsets that we use at Woods n Water is #bettertoday. Each day\, we have an opportunity to be better. Bertter health\, (physically & mentally)\, a better member of society\, make better choices …….. \nTime in nature is better for everyone’s health\, but is an outstanding holistical method of healing. Studies have been done to show what many of us feel aftwer time in nature ……”better” Whether it be just to balance our daily activities or the camaraderie\, we all walk away better. \nWe ask that you arrive promptly by 9:30 (earlier arrival encouraged)\, get signed in and be ready for our journey together. Woods n water will provide bottled water and healthy snacks for those interested. \nIf youi wish to ruck\, we ask that you add 22lbs to your ruck sack to honor the Heroes that have died by suicide. A study was done and it was determined that 22 Veterans a day die by suicide. We lose more Veterans & First Responders to suicide than we do from K.I.A. (killed in action). Together\, we can take that step to a better day and reduce that 22
