DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 2nd hike/ruck event of 2026!\n\nThe goal is 3-5 miles\, though we ended up doing 6.2 miles at the Edwin B Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge last month – haha.\n\nIf you are comfortable wearing a ruck sack\, GREAT! If not\, that is fine as well. For those that wear a ruck sack\, we ask that you have at least 22lbs of weight in it in honor of the 22 Veterans a day that die by suicide as well as the First Responders. We will meet in the parking lot at the Concession Beach by Lake Nummy. Bottled water and snacks will be provided.\n\nThere will be Woods n Water directional signs in place starting at the main entrance (the address provided).
