DESCRIPTION:Are you a Veteran or Active Duty Member of the Armed Forces and have been deployed to a Combat Zone? \nIf so\, we welcome you home and invite you to join others that have been as well in sitting around a campfire\, breaking bread and shootin’ the shit ………. let the conversations and mood direct the night. \nWe start the night at 1630\, but you are welcome to arrive when you can make it. It will last as long as y’all want it to (ending time is required for the event creation). At 1630\, there will be coffee\, bottled water and snacks; at 1700ish\, dinner will be served. We provide the campfire\, wood\, coffee\, bottles of water\, snacks and grub. SUMMARY:Maurice River Bluffs Ruck/Hike
DESCRIPTION:We will meet at the Maurice River Bluffs parking lot\, get acquainted\, hydrate\, grab a healthy snack\, pledge allegiance to our great Flag then hit the trails. \nWe provide bottled water\, fruit\, protein bars and other healthy snacks. FREE to all attending. We hit the trails by 10:00am. \nMaurice River Bluffs is one of our favorites. Such a beautiful location with well maintained trails that offer both an easy hike and a challenging hike. In addition to scenery\, this location holds some history and wildlife. \n  \n***Please register via Eventbrite by simply clicking on the link provided*** \nThere will be two groups to choose from. The Ruck Group\, which will be a fast paced hike\, with challenging terrain. If you have a ruck sack\, please bring it. For those interested\, we are asking those with a ruck sack to put 22lbs (20-25) to represent the 22 a day.\nThe Hike Group will have a leisure pace with mostly flat terrain.
