DESCRIPTION:This event is strictly for those that have been deployed to a Combat Zone.\n\n\nAre you a Veteran or Active Duty Member of the Armed Forces and have been deployed to a Combat Zone? If so\, we welcome you home and invite you to join others that have been as well in sitting around a campfire\, breaking bread and shootin’ the shit ………. let the conversations and mood direct the night.\n\n* BE SURE TO REGISTER VIA EVENTBRITE!!! * Simply click on tickets/free on this event to register\n\n\nWe start the night at 1630\, but you are welcome to arrive when you can make it. It will last as long as y’all want it to (ending time is required for the event creation). At 1630\, there will be coffee\, bottled water and snacks; at 1700ish\, dinner will be served. We provide the campfire\, wood\, coffee\, bottles of water\, snacks and grub. All that y’all have to do is keep the fire going\n\n\nWoods ~n~ Water vets ALL Combat Campfire participants. If you have not been verified by a Woods ~n~ Water board member\, please provide proper documentation. There are instructions on how to do so in the registration process for those the need to.\nBe sure to follow the instructions provided in the registration. There will be a more specific location provided\nFor those interested in camping overnight and possess a tent\, you are welcome to do so. DESCRIPTION:Woods n Water would like to invite our Nation’s Heroes out for a fun day kayaking the Great Egg Harbor River followed with some pizza and camaraderie at Palace Restaurant & Outfitters. \nPlease do not attend this event unless you have some paddle experience whether it be with kayaks or canoes. The Great Egg Harbor River can have some current\, depending on the rainfall leading up to the date\, and may have obstacles to navigate over\, under or around. \n  \n*** REGISTER VIA EVENTBRITE!!! Simply click on tickets/free*** \n  \nWe will meet at Palace Restaurant & Outfitters at 9:30 and their staff will size us up for PFD’s (personal floatation device)\, take us up river with a load of their vessels and drop us off. We will then paddle the 3 hour (approx) trip down the river back to Palace where we will come in and break bread with some pizza. Other food may be purchased at your expense\, but we have the pizza covered! \nNothing is required from you except to dress accordingly for water events. We do not intend on going in the water\, but it could occur – shorts\, layered shirts\, sunscreen\, change of clothes\, water shoes (if you have them)\, etc.\, We will provide bottles of water. DESCRIPTION:Woods ~n~ Water is holding a boat fishing event for our Nation’s Heroes. \nIf you are a Veteran/Active Duty member of the Armed Forces or a First Responder\, please join us for a day of fishing\, camaraderie and friendly competition. If not\, we will provide what you need to have a good day on the water boat fishing. We will pair you up with a volunteer with a boat and angler experience to see which boat team will have bragging rights for the day.\nCategories:\n(3) 15″ Bass limit\nBig Bass\nBig Miscellaneous\nBig Panfish \nVolunteers with a boat and fishing experience are wanted!!! Please register and we will pair you up with one of our Nation’s Heroes for an opportunity to show appreciation for their service and to provide a therapeutic day on the water. What better way to give back than to do something that you enjoy? Every day\, individuals that serve this great country die by suicide because of their time in service. Events like these have a positive impact on mental health and there have been studies done to prove that they do.
