Woods ~n~ Water was contacted by Chris Krutzsch, of the Wilmington VA Vineland office, to inform us that the good people of the Hopewell Crest School wanted to hold a drive for food, toiletries, bedding, etc., and wanted WnW to distribute to at risk & residentially challenged Veterans through our Food Pantry program.
This all started when Chris Krutzsch’s (2) children raised $100 setting up a front yard stand with signs asking for donations to help homeless Veterans. After the Hopewell Crest School staff found out about the efforts of the Krutzsch children, they reached out to Chris and put together the drive.
WnW & the Wilmington VA Vineland office held a presentation at Hopewell Crest School, to talk with the students and staff about the homelessness of our Nation’s Heroes, what we all do to help them and how they are able to help them as well.
The drive was started on May 02, 2022 and will continue until May 20, 2022
Thank you Hopewell Crest School for your efforts to help our Nation’s Heroes and for instilling charity in your students. With role models such as yourselves, children are able to form better choices.
