All American Fireplace has been a supporter of Woods n Water since the beginning. They are hands on with our mission including behind the scenes needs. All American owner, Bob Marks, reached out to Wingate’s Tree Service and requested a price on delivered cords of seasoned firewood for us to use for our Combat Campfires & Camaraderie Campfires and to provide to those of our Nation’s Heroes that could use the help. Wingate’s owner, Adam Wingate, was eager to work with us.
Soon after connecting with Adam Wingate, we received two cords of firewood through their Cords of Compassion program. One cord for our campfires and one cord for a Navy Vietnam Veteran, who reports that he is absolutely pleased with how well it burns. If you are a Veteran or First Responder that uses wood to heat your home and could use some help, please contact us to arrange it.
