We started the Mission: Heroes Night Outs March of 2022, holding them the last Wednesday of each month.
When we did the 2nd one in April, we started holding 50/50 no return raffles. The tickets are a $5 donation each with the winner receiving 50% of the total plus an extra gift from Woods ~n~ Water, usually a gift card. The remaining 50% gets donated to the Veteran and/or First Responder charity of the establishments choice.
In 2022, we were able to donate to the following (in order):
- Clayton Elks Motorcycle Committee’s Christmas in July for the Veterans Memorial Home
- DAV Chapter 44
- Millville Fire Department
- TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors)
- DAV Chapter 44
