In conversation with NJ VFW State Commander Jon Hinker, Commander mentioned a unit of US Armed Forces were about to be deployed and his interest in giving them and their families a send-off. We offered to assist with bottled water and snacks and reached out to WnW Family Bridgeton Walmart. Store manager Allison Chellew was quick to step up and offer a generous donation of water and snacks.
Once again, a few boots on the ground making small acts with big impacts.
