We are grateful of the Elks nationwide for all they do for Veterans of the US Armed Forces, but we are also honored that there are Elks Lodges that support Woods n Water and our mission of serving our Nation’s Heroes.

Just recently, Elks Lodge #2550 in Edgewater Park contacted Woods n Water and requested a list of needs for the Woods n Water Food Pantry. Soon after, we were asked to stop by and pick up their collection to donate. What an outstanding job they did! Definitely items that will be dearly appreciated by our Heroes in need. In addition to the Food Pantry donations, Lodge #2550  Veterans Committee presented Woods n Water with a check for $1,500!!!

Also recently, Elks Lodge #733 in Deerfield contacted Woods n Water and inquired about sponsoring an upcoming event. Just so happens, we were just starting to put together a charter boat fishing trip [“Mission: Charter Boat Camaraderie”]. Exhalated Ruler Brendon Mc Nolte was excited to be part of it and pledge to sponsor the boat. We are looking forward to the event coming up quickly (09/22). While fishing is definitely the main focus for this event, it is not the only focus. The event will be structure so that both anglers and non-anglers will enjoy themselves. There are three tiers to the boat with two cabins, one being large enough to have spacious seating, bathroom facility and a counter to place food for everyone. In addition to the event sponsorship, Lodge #733 presented Woods n Water with a check for $1,100!!!

We are honored and grateful for the support and confidence to carryout our mission. Without the continued support of our supporters like Lodge #2550 & Lodge #733, our reach would be much less. Thank you !!!
