Location: Clarksburg, NJ. Monmouth County Size: 52 acres Depth: Average 12 feet; Maximum 24 feet. Ramp and Parking: Asphalt ramp. Not a lot of parking. Motor Limits: Electric trolling motors only. Need for Morning Quiet?: No Directions: Stone Tavern Lake is located in the same wildlife management area as Lake Assunpink and Rising Sun Lake. From the south: Follow Route 295 North to the Trenton area. Get off at the Rt 195 East exit (Exit 60). Follow Rt 195 for 11.4 miles to the Cox's Corner/Imlaystown exit (Exit 11). From the exit ramp, turn left (north) and go over Rt 195. Proceed to first stop sign and make righthand turn onto New Cantown-Stone Tavern Rd. Follow winding road until you come to E. Branch Rd. Make sharp left turn. Drive for about 1/4 mile until you see a sign and entrance on the right hand side for Stone Tavern Lake. Make a right turn into this area. Stick to the far left side of gravel road and it will bring you directly to parking area & boat ramp.
