We are very grateful for Post 1963 Auxiliary’s continued support and confidence in the Woods n Water mission. If you are in search of a good VFW Auxiliary, we suggest visiting Post 1963. In addition to being part of an Auxiliary that makes a difference to the Veteran community, they have a well maintained and active social quarters to enjoy the camaraderie of others that share similar interests.
In 2021, Post 1963 Auxiliary invited Woods n Water to attend one of their monthly meetings to hold a presentation and became a continued supporter since, showing a special interest in the Woods n water Food Pantry. A little extra that the Woods n Water Food Pantry offers vs most other food pantries is delivery. If a Hero is having transportation difficulties, we will deliver provisions to them. By structuring a program that offers several agencies and other organizations the option to request food for the Hero they are assisting, the Hero’s journey to a better day is made easier.
