Veterans Haven South is a transitional housing facility for Veterans that have been presented with circumstances that they needed some assistance with. Here they will not just receive shelter and meals, but also assistance with becoming self sustaining. We wanted to provide them with a distraction, share some positive energy, and show them that they are appreciated and not alone.
We occasionally visit as well as set up little trips away from the facility, such as cookouts, sub days with outdoor games, kayak & kayak fishing events and much more. For this event, we held a pizza night which included desserts and giveaways.
