Working together is what Woods n Water is all about. Together, we can accomplish more and have a more successful outcome on our missions.

NJ VFW State Commander Jon Hinker reached out to Woods n Water asking if we had any knowledge of an electric ADA scooter for a Veteran he met in his travels. This Veteran was residing in Florida when he was provided a scooter from the VA. When he made his journey to New Jersey, he was unable to transport his scooter. Seeing that this Veteran was limited staying active, Commander Hinker decided to step in and help his Veteran Brother (#stillserving).

After hearing of this, Woods n Water created a post on their facebook page requesting if there was anyone that had or may of known of someone that had a scooter. Soon after Woods n Water Family Ma Deuce Deuce reached out. After getting the details, Commander Hinker made the trip to Toms River, picked up the scooter and brought it back to the Veteran in South Jersey.

Three organizations that are boots on the ground. Some times, like with this mission, a few making small acts of kindness can have a big impact!
